چکیده

As the main part in terrestrial ecosystems, vegetation is the result of long-term effect by variety natural factors of a region. In the same climatic regions, the heterogeneity of natural conditions is small and the vegetation also has certain homogeneity. These provide us a appropriate selection to analyze the vegetation change according to unique phonological characteristics of different regions[1]. Based on the above understanding, this study analyzed vegetation variation in different vegetation-climate regions with Mann Kendall non-parametric test. The detail of the method can be seen from the relevant articles [2-4] . Study data were the Chinese climatic regions data (Figure 1) [5] and long temporal series NOAA-AVHRR NDVI sets [6, 7] from 1982 to 2006 with time resolution of 15 days and spatial resolution of 8km in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, China.

Analysis of Temporal Vegetation Changes in Western Rangelands of Kerman Province Using MODIS Level 3 Data and its Relation to Climate Factors

Vegetation is one of the most important physical properties of the earth's surface that plays an important role in reducing the occurrence of wind erosion and reducing dust particulate matter emissions, especially in arid and semiarid regions. The extent of development or destruction of vegetation in an area is usually affected by climate change at different times. This study aimed to investiga...

Trends and variation in vegetation greenness related to geographic controls in middle and eastern Inner Mongolia, China

Extensive studies have investigated the relationships between climate change and vegetation dynamics. However, the geographic controls on vegetation dynamics are rarely studied. In this study, the geographic controls on the trends and variation of vegetation greenness in middle and eastern Inner Mongolia, China (mid-eastern Inner Mongolia) were investigated. The SPOT VEGETATION 10-day period sy...

Detecting Sustainability of Desertification Reversion: Vegetation Trend Analysis in Part of the Agro-Pastoral Transitional Zone in Inner Mongolia, China

Vegetation dynamics are an important topic in the field of global environment change, which is of great significance to monitor temporal–spatial variability of desertification at regional or global scales. Following the reported desertification reversion in the late 1990s in the Horqin Sandy Land, an issue was concerned for desertification control by decreased water availability. To detect the ...

Monitoring Vegetation Dynamics in Xilinguole League, Inner Mongolia, China by Using Spot/vegetation Data

A new method for grassland vegetation dynamics monitoring was developed based on the linear time trends (LTT) estimation and change vector analysis (CVA) using SPOT-VGT imagery. Firstly, seasonally integrated normalized difference vegetation index (SINDVI) was calculated by using 10-day NDVI. Then by evaluating spatially averaged SINDVI of vegetated areas, the apparent change periods were ident...

Spatial and temporal patterns of Holocene vegetation and climate changes in arid and semi-arid China

Pollen data from 30 sites in arid and semi-arid regions of China were reviewed to document regional patterns of Holocene vegetation and climate change and to understand the large-scale controls on these changes. Vegetation at most sites in eastern Inner Mongolia switched between forest, forest steppe, and typical steppe, showing maximum moisture conditions before 6 ka (1 ka 1⁄4 1000 cal yr BP) ...
